It's stunning... and I've never really liked red hot pokers but against the deep purple background of the clematis they look pretty good. What variety is the clematis out of interest? And what do you do to make it flower so vigorously? Sorry about all the questions, am beginner gardener, I know nothing! :)
Hi Louise, thanks for all the comments, ask away! The clematis is viticella "Polish Spirit", I don't do anything special with it, I'm not a clematis expert but from what I know all the viticella types flower well.
