Garlic

I planted these last autumn and although I've lost a few to the dreaded white rot on the whole I'm quite pleased with how they're coming along.

White rot

The firkin white rot has nobbled most of my garlic now; I've got about seven unaffected plants left which I'm hoping is a lucky number. Not that I'm not holding my breath.

Garlic

I've lost a few of these to the dreaded white rot; hopefully I won't lose any more before they're ready to harvest.

Garlic

I've given up trying to figure out when I should dig this up for drying - the forums give contradictory advice - so I've dug half of it up. Looks ok to me.

Rusty garlic

So the garlic's still rusty, it's not like it's going to get better and there's nothing I can do about it. I'm loathe to dig it up before it should be ready for drying in August; I've been getting rid of the ones with white rot and eating some of it wet. It isn't really wet that's just the term for eating it before it's ready. Go figure.

Garlic

My bulbs arrived from Kings Seeds today so I've been out there and planted the cloves. I haven't grown it before but it seems to be all the rage and I wouldn't want to be left behind would I?
