Ox-eye daisies

I'm well pleased with these. I started them off from seed and planted them out in my orchard last year. Now they're flowering a treat. Hopefully they'll seed themselves around and spread too.

It's not pretty but I can't grow crucifers without row covers unless I want to harvest lace.

I always have a bit of trouble with flea beetles but usually the plants are strong enough to grow away; this year with the drought they're stressed and so succumbing. I have to net against cabbage white butterflies laying their eggs and then the caterpillars would make a mess of them given the chance.
