Better than a poke in the eye

We had one good day of rain last weekend and although we could do with much more it was better than nothing, which is where we were. A few showers in the week and some heavy ones today; nothing special but better than a poke in the eye.

Cropping strawberries and raspberries, spring cabbage, early carrots, potatoes and peas, broad beans, green garlic, salad leaves and herbs.

Your picture is lovely. Your plot looks so sweet and peaceful. It's still cold and wet here and the slugs are ferocious this year.

Ah thanks Tracy; sorry to hear that about conditions your end. It sure seems a strange year weather wise all over the place.

You still may find me in your garden one day, snacking on your peas. Hopefully it will turn around soon here and that won't be necessary.
