Happy Solstice!

Nearly Christmas, whoop de do. Plenty to eat from the plot - carrots, kale, leeks, Chinese mustard, scorenza, apples and sprouts too now that they've had some frost on them. What more could I ask for.

Just spent a happy 20mins looking through your Summer posts, so much growth and colour, you clearly got more sun than S.R. Scotland - many of my annuals didn't start flowering until October (indeed, knautia is still flowering now - bizarre).

I was wondering if you might add your allotment to Folia the online gardening website (it's free). I'm always looking to encourage more gardeners to join and am having an extra push this week while the weather is keeping most people indoors.

It's a great resource for gardeners and has helped me keep on top of my 800+ plantings with photo's, notes, journals, milestones etc. They have an extensive plant wiki and a seed stash section where people can also list seeds for swapping. Here's the link to my Folia page so you can see how it works: www.myfolia.com/gardener/CDfolia/invite.

Hi Cally, thanks for reading my blog - I've had a quick look at Folia, it looks quite interesting, when I've got a bit more time I'll have a better look and see about adding my blog. Thanks again, Simon.
